Transformation of a loft into a 3-room apartment

Lors de l’acquisition de cet appartement de 50m2, celui-ci était composé comme un grand studio, dans un style « loft » à la mode des années 90. Le nouveau propriétaire ayant besoin d’un 3 pièces, l’architecte d’intérieur a dû redécouper l’espace de l’appartement.
L’objectif de cet aménagement de loft consistait à préserver l'impression d’espace dans la pièce de vie tout en optimisant les 2 nouvelles chambres et leurs salles d’eau respectives
La grande hauteur sous plafond a été mise en valeur par la création d’une belle ouverture en arc de cercle entre le salon et la chambre principale. Une porte coulissante vient fermer ce passage.
Les matériaux patrimoniaux tels que les poteaux en pierre et les poutres en bois des anciens ateliers ont été conservés dans le cadre de cette rénovation.
Des stores californiens noirs apportent contraste et graphisme dans la décoration. Ces stores permettent également la gestion d’un vis-à-vis intrinsèque à un appartement parisien sur cour.
Parmi les éléments de mobilier, on trouve un tapis et canapé IKEA, un fauteuil Le Corbusier, une table Eileen Grey, des chaise Eames, des chaise Jacobsen, un meuble Componibili violet de Kartell.
When this 50m² apartment was purchased, it was laid out as a large studio in a 1990s-style “loft” design. Since the new owner needed a three-room apartment, the interior designer had to reorganize the space.
The goal of this loft conversion was to preserve the impression of space in the living area while optimizing the two new bedrooms and their respective bathrooms.
The generous ceiling height was enhanced by creating a beautiful arched opening between the living room and the master bedroom. A sliding door closes this passage.
Heritage materials such as stone pillars and wooden beams from the former workshops were preserved as part of this renovation.
Black vertical blinds bring contrast and graphic character to the décor. These blinds also help manage the inherent overlooking of a Parisian courtyard apartment.
Among the furniture pieces are a rug and sofa from IKEA, a Le Corbusier armchair, an Eileen Gray table, Eames chairs, Jacobsen chairs, and a violet Componibili storage unit from Kartell.
